Terms of Service

Last updated: February 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to GreatGrants.ai, operated by Great Grants, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the GreatGrants.ai platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. The term "you" or "your" refers to you individually and, if applicable, the organization you represent.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. We encourage you to read these Terms carefully before creating an account or using any features of the platform.

2. Description of Service

GreatGrants.ai is an AI-powered grant management platform designed to help faith-based and nonprofit organizations streamline the grant lifecycle. Our Service provides:

  • Grant Discovery: AI-driven matching of your organization with relevant grant opportunities from federal, state, foundation, and faith-aligned funders.

  • Readiness Assessment: Automated evaluation of your organization's preparedness for specific grants, including compliance scoring and gap analysis.

  • AI-Assisted Grant Writing: Intelligent drafting of narrative sections, budgets, and supporting documents using your organization's data.

  • Application Management: Centralized dashboard for tracking applications, deadlines, and submission status across your organization.

  • Faith-Aligned Impact Scoring: Specialized metrics that evaluate faith-based mission alignment alongside traditional grant criteria.

The Service is designed to assist and augment human effort, not replace professional grant writing expertise, legal counsel, or financial advice.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as necessary.

Account Security Requirements:

  • Passwords must be at least 12 characters and include a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is available and strongly recommended for all accounts. Organization administrators may require MFA for all members.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • You must notify us immediately at support@greatgrants.ai if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk to the platform.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

This section is critically important. Please read it carefully.

GreatGrants.ai uses artificial intelligence to assist with grant discovery, readiness assessment, and application drafting. While our AI systems are designed to produce accurate and helpful output, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI output is assistive, not authoritative. All AI-generated content, including draft narratives, budget suggestions, compliance assessments, and grant matching scores, should be treated as a starting point that requires human review, editing, and validation.

  • No guarantee of grant success. Using GreatGrants.ai does not guarantee that any grant application will be funded. Grant decisions are made by funders based on their own criteria, and many factors beyond application quality influence outcomes.

  • You are responsible for accuracy. You must review all AI-generated content before submission to ensure it is accurate, truthful, and compliant with funder requirements. Submitting inaccurate or misleading information in a grant application is your responsibility.

  • AI limitations. AI systems may produce content that is incomplete, outdated, or contextually inappropriate. We continuously improve our models but cannot guarantee error-free output.

GreatGrants.ai is not a substitute for professional grant writing services, legal advice, or financial counsel. We recommend consulting with qualified professionals for high-stakes applications or complex compliance matters.

6. Data Privacy & Security

We take the privacy and security of your data seriously. Our data handling practices are described in detail in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Key commitments:

  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Sensitive fields such as EIN numbers and financial data receive additional field-level encryption.

  • AI Data Processing: When your data is processed by our AI systems, it passes through a multi-layer PII stripping pipeline. Your data is not used to train third-party AI models.

  • Access Controls: Role-based access controls (RBAC) ensure that only authorized members of your organization can view and modify your data.

  • SOC 2 Compliance: We are actively working toward SOC 2 Type II certification and maintain security practices consistent with that standard.

  • Infrastructure: Our platform is hosted on AWS infrastructure with industry-standard security controls, monitoring, and incident response procedures.

7. Faith-Based Organization Provisions

GreatGrants.ai is designed with the unique needs of faith-based organizations in mind. We recognize the diverse landscape of faith traditions and are committed to serving organizations across denominations and faith backgrounds.

  • Non-Denominational Platform: GreatGrants.ai is a non-denominational platform. We serve organizations of all faith traditions without preference or discrimination.

  • Faith-Aligned Impact Scoring: Our platform includes optional faith-aligned impact metrics that help organizations articulate their mission-driven outcomes. These metrics are supplementary and do not replace standard grant evaluation criteria.

  • Sensitive Data Handling: We understand that faith-based organizations may handle sensitive information related to congregants, community members, and mission activities. We apply enhanced data protections to this category of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

  • Church-State Compliance: Our grant discovery and readiness features are designed to help organizations navigate the legal requirements of government grants for faith-based entities, including First Amendment considerations. This information is educational and does not constitute legal advice.

  • Your access to the Service will be revoked at the end of your current billing period (for paid subscriptions) or immediately (for free accounts).

  • You may request an export of Your Content for up to 30 days following termination. After 30 days, Your Content will be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

  • Any outstanding fees will remain due and payable.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. In cases of termination for cause, no refund will be provided.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue.

For disputes involving amounts less than $10,000, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days before pursuing formal legal action.
